Electrician Spotlight - Reed Sponsler
9/10/08
As most of you know, Rick Moen has led our Low Voltage groups Energy Managment project for the better part of the last 3 years. One of the keys to his success is the electricians who are on the line working on his projects and providing the daily expertise that ensure successful installations for both Automated Logic (ALC) and Johnson Controls (JCI). Yesterday, Rick recieved an email from Chris Weyandt (JCI), and I thought it appropriate to share it with you.
-----------------
Rick,
I was informed yesterday that MMC [Metropolitan Mechanical Corp.] expressed that they were pleased with Reed's performance at Macalester Athletic and Rec Center. I worked with Reed for about a month on that job and feel that he is an excellent electrician in both his attention to detail and his clean, organized installations. I look forward to working with you and Reed on future jobs.
Chris

Your effort and skill are recognized and appreciated.
Keep up the GREAT work!

Michah Haeckler Accident 08/13/08
Michah was working Wednesday morning and came in contact with electricity while trying to finish an office space remodel in Bloomington.
The incident stopped Michah's heart. Workers on site administered CPR and used an AED until and ambulance arrived and took Michah to Southdale Medical Center.
Michah was resuscitated and the doctors at Southdale have stabilized him.
Michah was moved this afternoon from the emergency room to the Intensive Care Unit where he is now.
The Doctor said, "The fast action of the people on site doing exactly the right things, saved Michah's life today!"
Thank you Jerry and Mike from Paul's Architectural Woodcraft as well as Wendy from Toepher International and The Bloomington paramedics!
Everyone at Mayer Electric wishes him well and is pulling for him.

Marty just returned from the hospital where I got a chance to visit with

He looks really good, and seems to be feeling pretty well also. Michah
said he remembers working in that junction box - and the next thing he
remembers, he was in the hospital!
The doctors are planning on releasing him tomorrow so he should be home
for the weekend.
